The retrospective overview exhibition with the comprehensive accompanying publication Allstars Archive depicts the visual oeuvre of selected authors that exhibited at the Independent Biennial within the last decade. The more than 300-pages long publication presents the interesting artistic paths these artists undertook with a visual overview of their key works. It is an important archive of mostly younger artists, whose multimedia and work in the spaces between design, art and illustration are a net positive to the development of the Slovene visual scene.
The publication will also be presented as part of the main events of the Biennial – the selling exhibition Sequences at the DobraVaga Gallery (10 October, in the frame of the Tinta Comics Festival) and the central exhibition of this year’s artists at Kino Šiška (21 October – 8 November). The Allstars Archive will also be on view between 2 and 19 September at the Krakovski nasip embankment.
